I don't know where I've been but I just discovered Sunbutter. It's like peanut butter but it's made from sunflower seeds in a peanut- and tree nut-free facility. I'm so excited to have another school lunch option for B. And to try it in recipes that call for peanut butter. It's even fun to say the word "sunbutter", don't you think?

Just have to say how much I appreciate reading your blog. My daughter has so many food allergies, it is very encouraging to read that someone else is dealing with this too. She's only 13 months and just starting to eat table foods, and I appreciate your tips and recipes so much!

I've never seen that brand, but we love the sunflower seed butter from trader joe's. My son calls them "sunflower sandwiches" which I also love :)
